A Note from Adam

Hi Everyone,

I hope that this email finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe. We all have a part to play in getting through this pandemic as quickly as possible, so whether you are a front-line healthcare worker, a truck driver, a grocery store clerk or you’re staying home and social distancing, thank you.

Here at Reunion, we have been working diligently to keep up with roasting and filling orders, but also with all of the changes to our processes and customers’ needs. I wanted to share some updates with you and a few ideas on how we can hopefully help you weather the rest of this storm.

For our wholesale customers, I know how trying this time has been and how difficult the coming months will be as well. But we have seen success amidst the pandemic, through a surge in orders for our retail coffee program – and we are roasting fresh coffee daily to keep up. So whether it be turning cafés and restaurants into retail shops and grocery stores, starting an online shop or pivoting to home deliveries, if you would like to explore those options or any others we might be able to help with, please let us know. And generally speaking, if there is anything at all that you need, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly here.

To those of you drinking our coffee at home, we are overwhelmed by the support you have given us: through our wholesale partners, our website, or our flagship café on Roncesvalles. We know that you would love to have a coffee, made at your favourite café by your favourite barista, but while that isn’t an option, we have some help for you to make better coffee at home:

Our How to Brew videos and guides are available to you 24/7.

We’re going Live soon on Instagram and Facebook with some special guests from the coffee, food and beverage worlds to, hopefully, entertain and educate you on brewing methods, coffee knowledge and more.

Next week, we’ll be relaunching our e-newsletter, The Drop, to help us do a better job of communicating updates about our coffees, the incredible farmers we work with, the organizations we support and more. If there is anything you’d like to learn or hear about, please reach out and we will be happy to indulge.

On behalf of the team here at Reunion, we thank you for your support and loyalty during this time and always.

Be well,
Adam Pesce
