Quebracho, El Salvador Picturesque Finca El Majahual sits in the green mountainous region of Los Naranjos, El Salvador – a community known for producing many award-winning coffees. Year after year, Patrick Murray-Alvarez and his team work to improve not only the quality and sustainability of the farm, but also the lives of the people who work there. This year’s efforts have resulted in a light and creamy cup with notes of berry and hibiscus. Shop it here.
Tablon, El Salvador We’ve been working with Patrick Murray-Alvarez and his family at Finca El Majahual since 2015. At peak season, this Rainforest Alliance Certified farm employs up to 250 collaborators. This lot is a Red Bourbon varietal, a coffee that has benefited from the rich, volcani sediment in the soil, resulting in a sweet profile. Look for notes of caramel, honey and soft orange and a cup that get sweeter as it cools. Shop it here.
