Important Update on our Response to COVID-19

At Reunion Coffee Roasters, the health and safety of our employees, customers, vendors and their families is paramount.

As the world continues to deal with an uncertain path related to the COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to proactively communicate the preventative measures we are taking to keep everyone safe and limit business interruptions.

Here are some of the specific actions we have taken thus far:

Increasing our already strict internal and external guest screening processes to ensure the safety of both our people and our products.

Increased the frequency of international communication and resource sharing to help ensure all employees have the most comprehensive information about COVID-19 and are aware of their access to medical testing and care specific to this pandemic.

We’ve added additional hygiene and wellness stations located throughout the Roastery with instructions and resources to help educate, promote and raise awareness about hygiene and personal care best practices.

Employees who are ill or symptomatic are being encouraged to stay home or go home while maintaining their job security.

Increased safety stock of core coffee items is being produced to support order fulfillment.

As the situation continues to evolve on a daily basis, we will be taking guidance from Health Canada, the Ontario Ministry of Health, the WHO and medical experts to inform our decisions going forward.

While we have taken precautionary measures to ensure a stable supply chain and minimize business disruptions, if you have concerns specific to your business, please do not hesitate to reach out so we can address them together. We have put together a list of best practices and resources to refer to in dealing with COVID-19 within your business and are happy to share it upon request.

In closing, I would like to thank you for your continued support of Reunion Coffee Roasters, our employees and our community. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this situation.

Please be safe.
